The spring ratings that OME is talking about is the weight of the vehicle...not if it will be towing. If you plan on getting a winch, heavy front and rear bumpers, an upgraded rollcage, or plan on hauling a bunch of stuff in the back of the vehicle, you will want to go with a heavier load spring setup. If you go with a light setup and load up the vehicle, you will lose more lift than with a heavier setup.

Jeeps in general are not meant to tow more than 1500 lbs. or so.
