As long as you did this, you should be fine. Oiling the top of the bolt head is making sure you will get an accurate ft/lb torque reading.

I would drive it to work or where ever, then come home. Then let it cool down and re-tighten the bolts. Drive it for ~500mi or so then re-tighten again. After that you should be fine.

I wouldn't loosen the bolts after they've been torqued down. At this point you've already crushed the HG. Loosing it up will definitely cause problems. Even if it is one bolt at a time.

Beside you need to re-tighten the bolts after a couple heat cycles anyway. Don't tempt the HG Devil. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />
