The only "Special" tool I enjoyed was the snap on pulley tensioner press. Sears supplied everything else. First time for me took about 8 hours of work. The 3.4l is a non-interference engine so if you screw up atleast you will not destroy anything.


This tool is worth every penny, especially if you do a few of these. Like he said pretty basic if you're mechanically inclined, don't get absorbed into taking off too much stuff. Once you've done a few you can bust them out in an hour and a half with water pump replacement. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
