I know they will fit the KM148 (AW372) and V4AW2, but will they fit the KM146 A/T on some of the early Gen1's?

The 2.85s are for the "smaller" t-cases. These are basically the GenIs and the earlier GenIIs. The GenII 3.5s and 24V 3.0s (MT only?) have a bigger case/gears inside that allowed them to be able to cut a set at 3.15.

There are different gears between engines and MTs and ATs. You need to be sure to cross-ref to the mitsu factory gear that you'll be replacing when you order a set from AU.

Yeah, I'm talking about the aussie t-case gears. I know absolutely they'll fit the V4AW2 which went in many 1990-1994 3.0 trucks. I'm almost positive they'll go in the KM148 that went in many of the Gen1's to 1989. But I don't have any idea if they'll fit in the KM146 which went in some of the earlier Gen1's. No biggie, I'm putting together installation instructions for the 2.85 t-case gears and I wanted to list the transmissions they'd go in.

I remember when DougH did his. He had 24V 3.0 and ended up needing the 3.15s. IIRC, that's when Mister Bishi made the general suggestion to order via the cross-ref to the stock gear. That way they wouldn't have to guess what was on what truck in various markets. (In Oz, they never had the 24V 3.0, which basically had the 3.5L tranny/tcase. So, they didn't know about this when Doug ordered his.)
