Dan if carb cleaner don't rev up the engine when squirted aroundd the base gasket then you don't have the problem I described.
I'm thinking the two screws are the power supply screws on the bottom.. under the fuel bowl. I ain't looking at one but that is what I THINK I remember.

As I recall, the "use on Ford version" (or maybe all of em) of the 4150 has these screws Jim is talking about and the AMC intake is shaped differently, making these screws cause problems. Take the carb off and check for new scratch marks on the intake or any scuffs on the screw heads. You may be able to find a spacer or use a thicker carb gasket to raise the carb slightly to get the clearance and seal you need. Good Luck! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />
