I was a furniture picker part time during my first year of college. It looks like a fork lift but you and the bed go up in the air together. You then you slide the funiture off the shelf onto the lift. Looks just like this except with an aluminum bed where the forks are.

I'm picking a King Size bed out of a end rack on the top shelf. I lost my grip the plastic covering and went over the side 20ft up. The safety belt caught me but it was real embarassing hanging there in the air like a pinata in front of the customers. Not to mention swinging back and killing my sholder on the side but way better than a 20ft drop onto concrete.

On manager decided he could boost productivity by putting two sofas on end instead of one at a time. After we dropped four or five from 20 feet up it was decided a bad idea <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
