Ya, by using the Philips head screws you basically make a harmonic puller and the rotor comes pretty easily. The only thing you need to watch for is use a really large Philips head screw driver so you don't strip the heads out. You can get hew Philips head screws at the auto parts store to replace the ones you use. Highly recommended because they end up galled or stripped out.
