Any 85-94 carb or fuel injected head is interchangeable. The earlier 81-84 22r heads had a larger chamber which would lower compression if used on a later block. Also I'm not sure they have all the threaded bosses for hooking up the fuel injected intake system. The 20R heads were similar to the 81-84 heads. I'm sure someone else will chime in that knows for sure.
