just put the new hg on. tourqued everything down to specs..turned the engine over to remove the old oil and water from block. while doing so, we noticed a masive oil leak coming from bewteen the head and block...head was shaved 12 ths..block none..cleaned all the old gasked meteral from block...block looked good...the hg i used is "multi layered" from *****. engs...... what i was thinking is a bad hg or i missed some old gasket meterial on the block...i noticed the top and bottom layer on the gasket were loose...dont remeber just where though....should i call for a new gasket, or just check the block and clean it again?....the truck is a 94 w/88 long block..94 intake..i had no leakes before the hg change. we even drove the truck around the yard..never over heating it...any ideas?...please ??
