<hoping his wife don't ever read this>
Guess What!! Guess what?!?!?!?!?!???!!??!!

We just got a (TDI, Diesel) New Beetle as our daily driver. This means that the Rodeo is a lot more mine then it was (please forgive the butchering of the eaglish language : ). Make no mistake, my wife loves the Rodeo, hates that she's not driving it as much, and it's still "her car"... But...

Since it's not the daily driver, we talked about outfitting it for light trail use. Now, I suppose "light trail use" is very subjective, but still.

We agreed that, over a period of time, we'll make the following mods:
- Front Bumper (ARBish) with winch
- Rocker Protection (weld on frame)
- Rear Bumper (metal w/hitch receiver)
- 2" ARB rear coils.

Now, as I rebuild the engine (it has 56k miles on it, so it will be a while), I'm going to dig into a lower gear set for low range.

I'm stoaked!!! I really, really, really like the '04 Rodeo. It feels good to outfit it as it should have come from the factory.

Rejoice with me, my brothers!!! Let the people REJOICE!!!!
