After driving this truck for a few months, I can report that it works well. Runs quiet, and oddly fuel mileage is about the same as the high-mileage engine in the other truck. Seems to have better low-end grunt (tho not by a lot), and it doesn't leak or burn any oil. The other one has almost 350,000 miles, so I suppose it's allowed to use a little <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Another month and a half, and it will be time to park it for the winter. I still like the older truck, stack and all. I guess it's kind of like an old friend....that I made <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cyclops.gif" alt="" /> .
