I have made one power steering reservoir, but after trying it out, it wasn't going to work out very well as I didn't baffle it internally, and the return oil was shooting at my fill cap, and oozing out, so back to the shop it went. I added a second half to the side of it and baffled it inside, and voila! it works.
Sadly, it has been a long, cold winter so my work on the truck has been limited and slow. I haven't addressed the coolant leak yet, but it is another issue I am going to deal with soon. I am looking forward to driving it again, as I haven't driven it since November.

I also sold the old 1991 Sonoma that I converted to a diesel. The body was getting tired, and the motor was also showing it's many miles, so I ended up buying a 1986 S10 4cyl gas automatic. This thing is in really nice shape (for around here), and was kept up. However, it is rated for 92hp, and it is slower than the diesel on hills. Not by much, but it is slower. Perhaps someday I will convert this one too, if I can find another diesel S10 truck sitting around somewhere, waiting just for me..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
