I replaced the cables that were there today, just so I can check what's going on and to see if I'm missing anything here's the cables and contacts I have from the battery-
Battery + to starter
Battery + to fuse box
Battery - to body
If I'm missing a Battery - to engine block, can anybody post a picture or give a description of what I'm missing so I can get it right? Thanks a lot!

UPDATE-I just now happened to drop a wrench so it was touching the + and the battery hold down at the same time-holy crap it was a shower of sparks and the wrench spot-welded itself to the battery hold-down before I could knock it off with a piece of plastic. Upon closer inspection the battery hold-down is melted into the top of the battery-looks like I'm in for a new battery and hold-down!
