Take a few pics of the front suspension and frame, we can prob baly tell if it's an 87 that's been SASed.
Doing the SAS to a formerly IFS-based rig dds several inches of lift, so if you're 5-8" over stock height, unless you have some mondy leaf springs, it's probably a former IFS vehicle.
And yes, on trucks carb was optional until they changed the body style in '89.
