Getting the Wheeling Fever

my 89 toyota has spent its whole life in the southern California desert and is 100% rust free i bought it back to where i live now in Bismarck ND, i plan on undercoating the hell out of it before winter comes, what other things do you sujest to try to keep this truck rust free.
