Blown head gasket on a 1986 22RE 4Runner. Just sold it to this kid and he calls me today and says the head gasket is gone....#4 cylinder full of coolant. I don't get it...the only issues I ever had was what I thought was a sticking thermostat 2/3 times. It ran great with the exception of some idle oscillation. He said he drove 3.5 hours with no symptoms only to have the head gasket blow a couple of days later????
Any help appreciated....I just need to know if it was bad when I sold it...I don't want to screw this kid over, but I dont want to be taken for a ride either...
