WOW removing this motor is a lot harder than I thought. I took out all the bolts I see around the bell housing and engine. I can see a gap on both sides and on the bottom between the housing and the engine. I cant see behind the top though. I got the bolt that is on top kind of behind the carb. Is there one on the other side as well? I cant see back there or even reach. It seems like something in the very center is holding it together. I have shook and wiggled it but it wont free loose.

This fsm doesnt show me how to remove the tranny from the engine. I am so aggervated.

There's a 'gotcha' bolt under the exhaust that faces AFT thru the stiffener brace. Your other gotcha is the starter mount bolt.

I got the starter bolt, I am not sure about the one behind the exhaust Im pretty sure I got that one. I didnt see anymore at all on the sides or bottom, it must be dead center in the back??????

There isn't a center bolt on top. There are 8 bolts, 4 down each side, and the starter bolts. If you have daylight on both sides, the motor is just hung up, try lowering the engine back down and swing forward, or slide the transmission back a little.
