I have been absent from the wheeling community for quite some time. I was in the process of finishing my 93 Rodeo when I got T-boned. Then I graduated form college and I have been trying to get my career up and going. I have had an 86 Trooper, but there is just no build-ability in it. Several weeks ago I discovered that it needed about $1k in work, That night I started looking at Craigslist and found a sweet 89 trooper. (ARB bumper, Warn winch, TerraLows, Superwinch man. hubs, Pacesetter headers,Old Man Emu shocks,...) The only problem is that it is 4 door, I like my 86 2 door much better. So the idea is to body swap. I understand that it IS possible.
I wonder if there are some things that I need to keep in mind. I myself won't be doing it, But I want to be able to keep the shop in line.
Could anyone please share with me any insights. I understand that there might be an issue with some unused body mounts going between 4 to 2 doors.
Anything else?

Where can I find some new body mount pucks?

Any other things that would be beneficial to do at the same time?

Pics Soon, as soon as I figure out how to do it.

Thanks. LINK
