I bought and traded parts for the alloys I have (all 8) and bought some cheapy tires....all for around $500. Check out Craigslist, Pirate, and 4x4Wire classifieds, you're likely to find some good used tires for cheap. I ran 25k miles on a set of Pirate sourced tires for $80!

Even WalMart sells BFG all terrains for $125/each or so...
