I've read that you can use ATF to help lubricity in diesel fuel, so maybe it won't hurt.

But how much energy does it have per volume compared to diesel? Also, there are many kinds of ATF, probably not all of them are suitable to be used as fuel, some may degrade the seals and hoses, others may not.
