Wanted to pull out my cruise control and AC system.

for the cruise system:
-How hard is it to pull out the cable
-if I just cap the vacuum line will that adversely affect anything.

for AC:
-If I wanted to completely remove the compressor, what would you recommend to do with the serp belt and pulley? It seems like it would be a long stretch for the belt go from the Alternator to the power steering pump. Maybe I could put something else in that spot like another alternator??

-How hard is it to pull out the rest of the tubing and whatever is behind the firewall?
