after doing some JDM CAPS - NORTH AMERICAN CAPS cross referencing...the windshield seal (spacer they call it) is the same part number, there is no reason why a 1992 Monty windshield shouldnt fit.

I called a local glass shop and they said if I order the wrong one and it doesn't fit, I still have to eat the cost. so looks like I'm going to take a gamble.

Well, I never did understand why the Monty glass didn't fit. Everything else does.

Good luck, hope it works out. That stone looks like it would have caused a new underwear purchase too.

Yeah, I don't get that one either Nigel. But holy crap that musta been some rock. It was this time last year (might've even been to the day - I'd have to look it up) that a rock flew off a truck and smashed my passenger's (LHS) window all over my interior and me.

Definitely a wake up call!

Let us know what you find out - hope its a direct fit for you buddy! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

yah I remember that Phil...I was at Eli's house and you said over the phone that "something happened" but you wouldn't say what...then you showed up in the lancer HAHA.

but yah I hope everything works out too...my packing-tape chip repair might have to last a while haha.

OMG!!!! I know that had to have scared the sh!t out of you. That makes me sick. Your truck is one of my favorite rigs on the board. Hate that this happened.

its okay...I only found glass in my hair when I took a shower last night...and a piece in my ear haha.

I have gotten away lucky though...I went the last almost 2 years without having one single crack/chip. this makes up for 2 years of good luck.

Wow, you flatlanders have it pretty rough! I've been driving for 15 years, and I just got my first chip, in the Pajero no less!
Yay for roads with no government-added gravel. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />

I am now officially a Pajero owner. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.
