It would be great if one or more of the parts suppliers had a few in stock so we don't have to wait for weeks to get a new windshield. I just had my back right quarter broken and it is a pain in the a#s to get a glass shop to find a replacement. At least I can drive with the plastic over it for now, but I would hate to lose the front windshield and have to wait weeks to be able to drive.

I was talking to Mardy from the delica website. He said he was looking at bringing some windshields in. I will get a price and let you guys know.

Need a Spot
Here is dealer cost in Japan guys:

New original windshield : 82.500 JPY

New aftermarket windshield : 20.500 JPY (green tone)

New aftermarket windshield : 24.500 JPY (bronze tone)

You'll have to add a little bit for shipping in a parts container and duty, gst and a small fee for me. I have a parts container leaving in 6-8 weeks time. If anyone wants one loaded, let me know.

what would a final price be??? an estimate obviously... if the price is good...I might buy a windshield from you, but still try a US Montero glass, and just use the JDM one as a backup incase it doesn't fit. if it does fit I will sell the JDM glass so I can break even.

I'll grab one from you William. I guess the only trouble then will be the trip from Edmonton...

I don't need it yet, but I'd like to have one in storage, just in case (do have a few cracks, but I'm not replacing it till the cracks are worse - nothing on the driver's side right now...)

I'll grab an OE one. Is there anything else we should be getting with it, ie gaskets etc, that the installer might want/need?

Um 82.500 Japanese yen is worth less than a buck Canadian. Am I missing something?

The decimal is like our comma I'm guessing. 82,500.

So the cheap one would be 200 plus shipping duty and profit for the importer. About 300 bucks?
