thats the nice thing about the airaid MIT, it's just the tube between the stock box and the motor... while keeping the stock intake box... it's prettymuch like taking the restrictors out of the stock intake but leaving the box stock incase you go offroading and dont want an open element... tis' all... how is your tranny doing?
