One thing to keep in mind, I'm an Oregon native. Born in Garbage Grove and grew up in Harrisburg. I lived in Springfield and Eugene from age 19 till about 30. Then I moved to Hell, California.

I'm not saying Oregon has the best gas, I'm saying that Oregon nets higher fuel economy over California blends. This is not to say that Oregon fuel pollutes less, although the point is arguable if the net fuel efficiency is as I believe. You don't have to increase efficiency a whole lot to offset certain pollution levels.

I am a little surprised that California hasn't required Oregon to use California gas along the freeway in Ashland and Klamath Falls. Probably just a matter of time.
