It has been a while since I've worked on a 22re motor and I am putting a motoring a truck for my father currently (94 22re 5 speed) while i had the head off i obviously checked for and warped surfaces and I also replaced the valve stem seals while I had it out, after installing the valve springs I went to place the rocker arm assembly back on it would not fully seat, not I am almost positive it is because of the valve springs being all the way out, i assumed that while i torque the head down on the block it will seat and compress the springs that need to, but since my torque wrench is locked in my box at work I figured I would make sure before I put it on. thanks for all the help.
