Out of curiosity...would it be possible, in a bind lets say, to use a stock steering arm, bolt it in place of the lower bearing cap, and cut the steering arm portion off? Are the bolt holes the same? I'm pretty sure the bearings and races are.
Bearings are the same and yes you could but do not forget the cone washers.
