they work by ineterupting the ecm/pcm signal and changes the voltage to the pcm its one of the best ways to lean out a computer controlled vehichle. I build and install h.h.o. systems my self and for obd2 cars 96 and newer its a must. i have exact schematics to build them. and also map and maf enhancers cause they control a/f ratios also.
