your Raider already has most of the gauges necessary, including an attitude indicator, now all you need is an altimeter + magnetic compass and you are legal to fly VFR

Lol, those will be next.

The red lines are where the turbine blades go if the engine disintegrates! (Turbine engine)
You shouldn't stand in that area.
Maybe the lines should be by the turbo!

You should also stencil on things like DANGER - JET INTAKE, NO STEP, CANOPY RELEASE/EJECT, DANGER - EXHAUST, LIGUID OXYGEN, JP-5, and mount a pitot tube and static port. Maybe even an AOA vane and a couple of streamlined antennae. I'm sure you could also get a hold of some landing gear or ordnance pins with REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT flags.

I like your thinking. There's a web site that sells stickers like those. I plan on getting them in a ghost color. It's an on going project to say the least. lol

Thanks

That is the most original thing I've seen done to a Raider/Montero. I've thought of doing a snow camo paint job on mine. like this [Linked Image]

Oh yea

that's nice. 4 colors. It looks better with 4.

I got my stencils from this place..

On that web site there's another one called LTM. The link is on the left side about mid way down. They do rifles and guns but have the design made bigger and it'll work on your truck.

I really like your paint job. I was wondering where you got the stencils & if you could post a pic of them, in action if possible...

Ed

Sorry Ed, after using them they get trashed. I got them from bulldog arms.

you should hook up the stick's buttons to something. Like "weapons hot, firing....horn!"

I have a bit over 800 hours in Cs and Ds. The E model came out shortly before I left the AF. I think I remember: The trigger fires the selected weapon - gun, Sparrow or Sidewinder. The button on top drops bombs. The four way switch is for trim. I believe the red button on the left side is for nose wheel steering - don't remember the other - been too long. Nice job!
