I never removed the fender to change mine. Just remove the plastic fender liner and it's there to work on. The screw was no problem. The last time I did it, I left the console in place. You can engage the cable with a little patience, well maybe a lot of patience. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
