Today i noticed in the new petersons mag there's a '92 montero
in the readers rides section and its pretty much stock, still good to see one in the magizine but i think its time we get noticed. They need to see that there is a lot of us, i don't think they realize how many modified/Wheeled monteros there are out there. Petersons has a new online readers ride section and its lacking mitsubishis as mine is the only one on there.
You guys should all register and post up your trucks in action/build up pics. And you raider/D50 onwners should register your trucks as Mitsu's as well to keep all of our trucks together on the site.
Here's a link to the site Montero

Thats pretty cool. I 'll have to look at adding something myself.

The main pic was nice too. How did you get it to stuff some much. Usually I'll have to have ALOT of weight on it to stuff that much. My torsion bars feel stiff at times, and yes, I have both sway bars removed. Could have been the trail you were on instead. So do you rub with the 35's when its like that?

no rub at all, and it sounds like you might have your t-bars cranked up too much, I had mine like that at first and then i adjusted them it made a big improvement. Also i have shaved lower bump stops and i bought low profile urethane upper bumpstops from summit racing.

I talked to Aussielocker about Monteros. They said they offered a free unit for testing but nobody was interested in purchasing the units. They could not even give the free one away. .

Thats cool to see Monteros in Petersons. I'll join too.
