I'll bring my large trail box with me. That should cover most, if not all hand-tool needs. Sounds like the other areas (jackstands and floor jacks) are covered, but I wasn't aware those were going to be needed (unless we're also doing Chad's truck same day, then let me know if we need more). For future reference, I've also got a tranny jack, an engine hoist, an engine stand, a 7K floor jack, some smaller jack-stands, and a pair of monster jack-stands. Will we need the monster jack-stands for Chad's truck? I'll assume not unless said otherwise.
I know you can only get so many hands in an engine bay at once and not create a mess. Soooo, I was planning on working on my truck as well Tuesday, I might just need some pointers or an extra pair of hands now and again. Do you think I need the monster jack stands to swap out the shocks/springs/torsion bars? From what I have read, it sounds like I would only need 2 jackstands and a floorjack to do the rear and the same for the front....so I think we should be all set. See you then.

It depends on the size of your jackstands. Because you will need to be able to unload the rear axle itself and cannot support the weight of the truck on the rear axle, you will need to support the weight of the truck from higher up.
I'll plan on bringing my larger jackstands just in case they're needed.

Chad, you didn't happen to be towing a black GenI with another black GenI yesterday in Boulder did you?
I saw one on Arapahoe on my way to Boulder Powersports to check on my scoot.

Hitemp is ok, but so is the plain blue rtv. If you get the head hot enough to cook it, the head is warped and the head gasket is/will be toast, and you have to take it out anyway and redo it.

I just sold my corolla and living in a townhouse doesn't provide much room for extra cars! The Supra is the only one that fits in the garage with all of our boxes. I did see a pretty nice red gen 1 yesterday in Boulder near 76th Ave and Baseline, though.

I hope that crap gets here from Mitsuparts on Monday. I'm starting to get really nervous.

I'm starting to get really nervous. The order still shows as pending from Mitsuparts.net I'm not sure what to do, guys. I don't really want to postpone everyone another week, but I'm not sure what we can do on my truck without any of the gaskets or parts I ordered. I'm sure we can still get Chad's truck squared away at least. Should I try to find these gaskets locally at area dealers????

Well, I think I'm screwed. NONE of these parts except MD020718 SEAL+CYL HEAD CAM are even available locally. I am waiting on a callback from Mitsubishiparts.net
This sucks!
I guess it's my fault for not bumping it out another week.
