Need a Spot
I have a 1991 Mitsubishi Montero, and I can't seem to find spark plug wires for it locally.

Does anyone know of an online source for these?

Thanks! I need new ones and have struck out locally.

NAPA carries them, and you have 3 NAPA stores in Austin.

For parts you can't find locally, try http://www.mitsubishiparts.net online.

Welcome to the Wire!

Bought mine at OREILLY AUTO PARTS. There is one on ever corner down in South Texas, so there should be at least 10 in Austin!

Belden part # 700741 or NGK part # 9545. Both readily available from NAPA. Or, mine, at least...

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

Advance Auto and Autozone have them around here.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Thanks to all -

I bought a set at O'Reilly and a set at Vans, but neither worked...(2 of the wires were not long enough.)

It has been months since I have tried and I think I just need to try again.

I really appreciate the feedback~!
By the way, a little about my old truck...

I bought it new when in college. Built Dec. of 90 as a 91 model.
Original muffler...KYB shocks, 31x10.5 KO's....rebuilt Jasper engine...everything else is original and in good condition. 237K miles and I'm taking it to Big Bend in a few weeks...I swear it runs better out there.

I cringe with the anticipation. Watch that thing close, and keep the warranty papers.

One just like yours got my daughter thru college after a Mazda/Ford navaho and a Subie let her down. Trust that truck and treat her right, and she'll take the best care of you she can. And they are female. I'll give you a long argument on that one, with anecdotes...

Oh...I have to hear why Monty's are female.

The Jasper engine has been fine...it has almost 40K on it now...using synthetic oil and taking care of it.

Here's a picture from Big Bend on my last trip.
