Hey gennycos! gooI'm in Fort Stockton!

As you know, Big bend can be a very dangerous place in the summer. Last year, the wife and I drove River Road from Boquillas Canyan (50 miles) to Santa Elena Canyon and only saw two other people along the way. Two days after the trip, my ECU failed <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

Anyway, if ya want, gimme a holler next time ya plan on going there.

Yes...we're going this week but decided we're taking my neighbors truck to get a little better gas mileage.

I like BB in the summer...yes it can be dangerous, but if you are smart and prepared you will be fine.

The only real off-roading of any consequence we'll do is the Old Ore Rd., and there's not too much there to cause problems, provided there's not a flash flood.

I will look for a green Monty when I am in Ft. Stockton. We also gas up there on the way...sometimes grab some food, but I try to just keep rolling.
