I drive a company car which is at or near it's expected life-span. How about a black, emblazoned FJ Cruiser for a work vehicle?

Is the FJ just a Tacoma w/a different body? Same engine, suspesion, etc?
Can anyone compare the big four door Wrangler to the FJ?

I do not believe they are the same frame/suspension.
The door structure allows easier access to the back seat in the FJ than the 4-door Wrangler.

The FJC is a 4Runner with a different body and very slightly tweaked mechanicals. It uses the same engine, transmission, axles as the 4R.
I'd suggest driving one prior to making any decisions. For me, the utter lack of visibility in any direction is a killer - rode one on the trails recently and was not real comfortable.
O btw if you do get one, you have to have an iPhone and use it every chance you get when you're in or even near the FJC. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Yep. Both the 4Runner and FJC are based off the Land Cruiser Prado 120 series chassis. The FJC is has a few inches shorter wheelbase though.

Actually the only thing chassis wise that the FJ shares with the Tacoma is the engine and transmission. (and front diff/suspension) The Taco has an american built c-channel chassis (by Dana) with leaf sprung rear suspension. The FJC has a fully boxed frame designed and built by Toyota, with a 5 link coil spring rear suspension.
