Can anyone tell me the size of the two bolt holes in the rear drums used for helping remove a drum? One of mine is completely stripped out on one side, and I have tried everything I have in stock on the other and nothing fits. I have backed off the adjusting screw, but the drum is stuck. The axle turns with no rubbing noise, so I don't think the brake is holding the drum on. And no, the emerg brake is off.

take some spray lube and a file or sandpaper. Clean the center of the axle shaft that comes through the center of the brake drum they usually buld up corrosion and make it impossible to get teh drum off sometimes. A file usually works better as you can get right tight up to the drum. Then give it a light shot of lube and start wiggiling back and forth and it should start to come off.

Body Damage is Cool
I spray some lube on the axle center and tap it with a dead blow hammer till it comes off. Those threaded holes will only strip out again <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/baby.gif" alt="" />
