Start with a set of H4 replacements for your original lamps. Try to find bulbs with no colored coatings on them since the coatings move the light color to a spectrum that you can not use for driving. Coated bulbs are meant to look cool to oncoming traffic.
You do not need to spend allot to get a decent improvement. $30 to 50 will do for a good start.
If you do spend more you will get longer lasting reflectors and better optics.


Hey thanks for the idea, yea if I was going to go get aux. lights I would do it right. I put hella lights on my other car, best lights for backcountry roads, the light seems to go on. and on. and on...


87' Raider: off road package, rebuilt engine with (new) stock tires and alloy wheels but otherwise original.
