I tried running rugless in a Jimmy I had a few years ago, but it was a daily driver and the noise/heat got to me. I put it back in about a week later. The raider only gets driven to and from the trail, and occasionally in between so I don't think it will be a problem. I got it last fall and I haven't even put 3000 miles on it since.
