They are a direct bolt on to your rig.I've used the superwinch
hubs as long as I've had the Monty and saw these in a pick n pull so I wanted to upgrade.They came off a 80s Dodge D-50 pickup.I prefer having locking Hubs for just the issue you brought up about the CV boots.When I raised my 4Runner by the
T bars I blew out my boots.When I put new boots on I installed
WARN locking Hubs at the same time and dont have any problems
with the boots.These hubs work on Gen 1 thru 2.5
