Getting the Wheeling Fever
Howdy ya'll

My 90 toy has a jacked up mass air unit and I found a forerunner att he local junk yard that I looked at and the flapper worked back and forth really smooth. Mine is really frozen shut and after I tried cleaning it still isnt working properly.
Will a forerunner that poss had a v6 mass air sensor work with my 4banger ?
I would love to get this back on the road and use it, if it will work I can have it back on the road tomorrow.

22RE and 3VZE MAF's are different! They do NOT interchange. 3VZE is 22250-65010, 22RE is 22250-35050 ('89-'95) or 22250-35020 ('84-'88) or 22250-35040 ('84-'88).

Your fuel pump is probably alright.

Well, I checked my mas I bought at the clunker yard and it ends in 35020.

But, it seems I am a genuine shadetree mekanic.

Put in a new fuel pump, newer mas and still didnt start. duh, check the EFI fuse and guess what......

yep, it was blown.
Seems the glue that the prev owner put on the crack on top of the plastic cover of the maf got hot and leaked down onto themvoing part of the maf and it would only move a little bit and cooked the fuse.

Well, now i gotta redo my exhaust as it was shot. Header and a flowmaster coming up soon.
