I'm ready to replace the front wheel bearings. My question is about the brake pads housing. They are plumbed with a hard line, going to a bracket. Then changing to a flex hose.
I dont think I can just remove the bolts holding the bracket and hang with a bungie, because of the hard line. The brakeline bracket is bolted through the steering knuckle. I'm afraid to unbolt this bracket.
I may just disconnect the brakeline from the caliper. I hate dealing with the brake fluid while doing the other work.
Any advice would be appreciated. J.B.
