They are still in the process of merging. XM is going to be dissolved into the Sirius Sat company (although XM has had the higher stock consistently, go figure). I am a daily listener to the Opie and Anthony Show, and they have discussion fairly often on how the merger is going and how alot of people who don't like them will be taking over the new Sirius XM company. They also have 73 days until their current contract runs out, and neither company has contacted them about renewing it for the last remaining year of their contract. I don't know if the merger is a good thing or not. Both companys claim they will be providing their services for no addition fee, but they revealed that they will be downsizing several channels into XM Sirius cross platform channels. Probably ditching XM programming for Sirius (only speculation on my point). After the base programming, almost everything else is an optional extra.

All I know is if they don't pick up O&A's contract for "Hoo Hoo" Howard Stern, I will be canceling all 3 of my XM units. I have my iPhone which can now stream the CBS 92.3 K-Rock side of the show on the Edge network. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
