There is no voltage at the solenoid, and I verified I had 12+ at the battery cable to make sure I was getting a good ground and reading with my multimeter. I unplugged the solenoid connector and double checked at the connector as well. I am keeping the old starter so I can rebuild it per your guidelines, but since it's my daily driver, I bought a rebuild anyway. I'll get back to you when I figure out what kind of stuff I need.
