That was a popular conversion in the 70's. Hell, I ran a 64 CJ-6 with a Chevy 283 and a GM Saginaw 4 speed. This was before swapping truck trannies into Jeep became popular. This is where Advance Adapters got their start. Muncies, T-10's, Saginaws, Ford T&C 3 & 4 speeds were popular conversions. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />
