Victory dance went off without a hitch....

Definitely will call ya when we go again. I had the boys and Lisa with me Sunday. They all want to meet you. They want to hear some of your tales firsthand

Somebody check my numbers please.

According to Dodge (cause the Mitsu stealer guys are not nice ) the most current P/N for the crank bolt is 1101A022 and the washer is MR994412. They said the numbers changed several times from the original number I gave them.

I ordered them for an 89 Raider 3.0, thinking it should be the same. The washer is flat and square shouldered on the ID and OD edge on one side. On the other side it's squared on the OD shoulder and beveled on the ID. I can't remember which side goes toward the crank.

As far as the bolt goes, it's 2.43" long. The diameter and pitch are correct. For some reason I was thinking the bolt was longer.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

EDIT: I remeasured the bolt and corrected my measurements.

Michael, do you have the bolt dimensions?

I just talked to Frank and he and I both agree that this bolt looks like a better design than the Mitsu part. It doesn't have the long shank between the contact shoulder and the hex. It goes from hex directly to contact shoulder then a very short bolt diameter shank then to threads. It may necessitate the use of a deep well socket rather than a shallow, but, to me that's a small price for, what looks like, a much stronger bolt. Thoughts anyone?

I'll post pictures of the bolt when I get home.

Make sure there is no woble when you hold the pulley snugged up in place . My crankshaft is now a smaller diameter from the lose pulley pounding the crank. It's not visable damage ,,, just loose.

Thanks Eric! I like the way mine looks alot better. Mine doesn't have the ridiculously long part between the contact shoulder and the hex. Seems like this should be a stronger bolt. Got busy last nite and didn't get pictures up, but I'll get them posted tonite.

I recently ordered a Crank bolt from ..parts.com (i think) Korum Mitsu in WA. The improved bolt has been superceded by what looks like a hardened vertion of the caravan bolt.

It's short but installs just fine with a standard 6" extention.
