Just bringing this back up, to say thanks to those who contributed to the post, esp the pics (Brian's too in his thread, though his pics are not working anymore). Got a long, heavy box today. Not sure when they'll go on yet, but at least they're in my garage. Thanks to those who figured out they'd fit in the first place.

See, we do have a thriving aftermarket. Its just a matter of figuring out which brand we want to force to fit our given application! Guess its more aptly called an "afterthought"!

Good job bro! Glad to see more are looking into these sliders. I've had a pair for over a year now, but they are still in the box, sad huh? I did ask the guy for 2 extra legs (1 extra for each side) and they sent it at no extra cost

The only concern I've had in my mind was if the wall was thick enough to withstand a hard impact. According to Brian, sounds like he has put them to the test

Another concern, for Gen 2.5 owners, is the "kick-out" on the body style at the back doors. Thinking of cutting the sliders and angle them out a tad to accomidate this curve so it flows with the body better. I'll post when I can finally get to it. You still offering Reuben?

I have a set, I tapered them out toward the rear for more protection like Angelo wants, But a rock still got in there and dented the body right in front of the rear tire. I have a huge dent/bend in the left one. It basically took the full weight of the Montero falling off a ledge to damage them.

Every day wheeling great product that will protect the body, harder wheeling and your going to want to buy some more beef.

Hmmm. I was wondering about that. These are .120" wall tubes right? It's a key reason I went with 4crawlers skidz w/ .220" wall outer square tubes although they're alot more expensive and man are they taking forever to receive... and I'm in the same city as he is!
