Need a Spot

I have checked timing, it is good. I have adjusted the carb. Checked the coil. Replaced catalytic converter. I have done everything I know to do. I am wondering if putting a carb. on a motor, that had a fuel injector on it, is part of my problem. If so, what can I do? Do I need to change anything else?
