[Re: bae146] #896807 07/25/08 02:07 AM Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,538 Red Deer, Alberta torquemonster Body Damage is Cool you should never find metal in your oil filter...if you do, its a bigger problem than wear and tear haha. everybody says diesels run forever...and its for a very good reason, they are WAY overbuilt and can easily take a lack of maintenance (not saying that is recommended) but oil changes do not need to be as frequent as gas jobbers.
