That's pretty much what I figured. Worst case I can probably get a 231J case and swap the front half of mine onto it.

One thing to consider is that the SYE units only offer cable drive speedo's and if you have a VSS back there now, it's a goner. (Unless you machine the gear off, and press fit a reluctor ring on it or something like that)


I do have a cable drive speedo, so I'm ok. They do offer super short SYE kits that have a VSS instead of a speedo drive, but they're about twice the price of the normal kits.
