I've always thought so, too. A friend (actually my boss) had one while I was stationed in HI and I fell in love with the bike. BADA$$ED V-twin torque and a comfortable sporty ride with a quarter fairing look. Never really like the full fairing bikes (although the new GSX-R 1000 and R1 are growing on me).

I'll fab some hard bag mounts for the sides and add a top case with a back pad for the kid. I want to take him on a road trip up into OR with a tent and some minimal primative camping gear. We'll stop at various campgrounds along the way and have a blast!

Anyway, still need that bit of mechanical advice so I can take the plunge! Thanks for the input and keep it coming.

Oh yeah, Chris, we'll have to meet up as well. Can't wait to see Joann, Carlos, Russ and Ray again either!
